What’s included in the report:
- Planning Applications: large, medium, small, unclassified, alteration, and minor new builds
- Planning constraints, land use designations, and strategies
Why this is important:
- In the year ending December 2023, 361,800 planning applications were received by UK authorities
- In October 2023, the UK government proposed to build 1.5 million new homes across the country within five years
- In July 2024, a Planning and Infrastructure Bill was announced to speed up application consents
