Nic will provide a quick 5 minute introduction to why and what legal practitioners should know about Japanese knotweed and will answer specific questions from the audience. Questions could range from advice you should give depending upon the answer given on the infamous TA6 question 7.8 (what does the buyer’s conveyancer advise with a “Not known” answer), what about if knotweed is in adjoining property and threatening to encroach, or what about a buyer alleging misrepresentation having found knotweed 6 months after the sale completion.
